From 1st July 2024, HMRC will change the rules for most double cab pick-ups. Pick-ups acquired or ordered before 1 July 2024 will benefit from a transition period but will be taxed under the new rules by April 2028.
The current van rules are at a low fixed rate, these will change to fall in line with company car rules which can be excessive.
